The Cosmic Love - Trilogy
PART - 2 THE ECLIPSE ✨🌒
Around them, the city pulsed —
a thousand lives in motion,
yet for them,
the world had narrowed
to a single, suspended breath.
a sunrise caught between joy and sorrow.
His gaze, the quiet ache
of every night that had ever missed her.
The air hummed ,
like a secret only the universe could keep.
He reached for her hand,
and their shadows joined first ,
a soft collision of light and absence.
Her fingers fit against his
as if the cosmos had been waiting
to complete its own symmetry.
For a moment,
the sky bent ,
day and night collided,
and the world was bathed
in a strange, holy dusk.
The sun had met her moon
and all creation held its breath.
But even miracles have borders.
The light began to tilt,
slowly reclaiming its divide.
Her warmth began to fade from his palm,
his calm slipped back into distance.
The eclipse had done its work
and like all forbidden unions,
it had to end in shadow.
She whispered,
“Even if we orbit apart,
we still turn beneath the same sky.”
He smiled,
the way the moon does —
with quiet grace,
with borrowed light.
Then the metro stirred again,
a metallic sigh through the station’s veins.
Doors closed.
Worlds resumed.
And what they had ,
that divine, stolen heartbeat
became a legend written in reflection:
The sun would burn for him each morning,
and he would glow for her each night.
Their love —
the secret pulse between light and dark ,
an endless eclipse,
repeating forever
in the silence between dawn and dusk.
