The Cosmic Love - Trilogy
PART - 3 THE RETURN OF LIGHT
Time, that slow river, finally yielded.
He returned –
The cities behind him like fading constellations,
the distance dissolved beneath his steps.
She waited –
eyes wide as dawn, heart thrumming like the wings of a thousand birds.
The moment the doors opened,
her laughter spilled into the air,
and he saw her ,
not just the body,
but the light she carried
since the very first glance.
They ran,
and their hands met again .
Fingers intertwining like constellations collapsing into one.
Their eyes held each other’s images,
trapped in memory for too long,
and now alive in the gravity of touch.
The world fell away.
Every step, every glance,
every whispered name
became a new universe.
Even the air between them sang,
a cosmic hymn only they could hear.
Days before, they had spoken
across screens,
through pixels and voices,
and each call had been an eclipse .
Their laughter bending light,
their words folding space,
bringing sun and moon together
across impossible miles.
Yet now, nothing could replace
the weight of warmth,
the certainty of breath shared,
the perfection of first touch repeated.
Every heartbeat was a planet orbiting the other,
every sigh a star collapsing into brilliance.
And in that moment —
the first hand held again,
the eyes meeting as if for the first time,
they understood that light always returns.
Even after shadow, even after distance,
love bends the cosmos
so that sun and moon
will always find their midway.
They laughed.
They spoke without words.
They simply were.
And the universe - patient, eternal ;
bowed to watch two souls
finally reunited in radiant orbit.
